Catnip and stuff.

Greeting blog! It's another week and time for me to finally blog again.
I actually started posting on a separate blog run by yours truly, though the content is a lot more personal and self-orientated, so I don't plug it via Facebook etc.
However, I will link to it via this blog, because chances are if you're reading this, you're not a complete cuntlog.

So what's going on in my little world of catnip?
My quest to exercise more has begun. I've been doing at least an hours exercise a day, on top of weights, push ups etc. And I have found my love for swimming again.
I'm going to make swimming a weekly thing I think, because it really left me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

It's also been a whole six months since I started going out with my girlfriend, so that's got me all exctied and smitten. I won't bore you with my lovey-dovey emotions though. That's the last thing you want.
("The last thing we wanted was to be lured into reading any of this tripe." - You)

I've also started writing again! If you ever saw this blog when it first started, I had a separate page on the top that linked to short stories I wrote. Unfortunately for the past year or two, it's been impossible for me to translate anything in my head onto paper. Or OpenOffice, for that matter. Any time I tried, I either hit a writer's block or everything I wrote just wasn't how I wanted it to come across.
I came to the conclusion that the problem was in my head, I was visualising everything I wanted to write, and it was playing out more like a movie than a book. I could even picture the camera angles and effects.
Finally, after reading books by an amazing author, David Moody, I rediscovered my passion for literature and began to start writing in first person, as opposed to my old ways of writing in third.

Once I feel that I've hit a point in the short story I'm working on that I'd be happy to publicise, I'll post it on here somewhere, probably in a .pdf document.

What else do I have to cover? This last week or two haven't been filled with much, other than exercise and seeing friends.

I may have a job sooner rather than later? I should be hearing back from someone in the coming days, and if everything goes as planned, I'll be in full-time employment again!

Oh, and myself and my mother are moving house in the next few months. Meaning I'll have more money to myself as less will be going into housekeeping. Success! More on that when the time comes.

Alright, I'm really running dry on things to post, I never realised how dry my week was when it comes to "blog-worthy" items. So I'll leave you with one last message, that comes deep from the heart:
When the time comes, and all eyes are on you, don't just pickle onions. Rise above the fermentation and be one with the butter and the toast. Become soft and delicious, but remove your crust so as not to be tainted.

I would walk 500 miles...

Bonjour, Ohayo, Aloha, Greetings and other merriments!
It feels like forever since I last blogged. I've been busy! I know I said I'd look after the kids! I know I promised you the world! I'm sorry I couldn't be there fore you! I can change!
So how's everything? Still resenting your parents? Still wallowing in your own filth day in and day out? Good! Good to hear everything's how I left it!

In my last blog post, I had a little timetable of upcoming events, and I can now officially add one feckin' more. So for the record, here's how February and March should play out.
22/02/12 My 20th birthday and the beginning.
27/02/12 Deathstars and Rammstein! (Oh my God, Deathstars. Ahhh!)
25/03/12 D.R.U.G.S and Black Veil Brides.
31/03/12 KoRn!

I'd just like to thank my girlfriend and her mother for the Deathstars/Rammstein and KoRn tickets. I'm genuinely spoilt.

So what else is new? Myself and fellow retired (???) blogger Kitty C, decided to go for an adventure through the countryside. The idea was for us to walk up to a giant forest and go exploring there, but we got sidetracked.
23 kilometres sidetracked.
There are various pictures we took which span across countryside, beaches and the coastline, but posting them below is proving to be a difficult task, as Blogger really isn't very organised trying to layout more than 3 images.
("You suck. You don't even know how to post pictures." - You)
Shut up. I'll supply you with these two pictures anyway. Because everyone loves pretty animals.

So. God. Damn. Cute.

Anyway, aside from the cute adorable animals, the walk was amazing. I know I state my utter hatred for this country on countless occassions, but that's generally due to the imbeciles that live here. There are some truely gorgeous places out in the countryside and along the coastline etc. It's worth your while to check them out. Just... don't walk 23km without preparing yourself. My feet are still sore.

What else news do I have?
I've got so much planned in the next few months and I can't even post about them! All will be revealed in time, if everything goes to plan.

I've been making minor changes to the blog layout etc. including a Twitter panel so you can see my pointless ramblings on there as well!

I'm considering getting a new phone, with a better camera and proper internet access, such as an Android phone. My major qualm with these is the ridiculous prices. If I want to avoid paying 300+ pound for a handset, I'd have to consider a contract phone. I'm not a phone user. I don't feel the constant need to have them with me at all times, so I normally only top up ten pound a month. Yet there are people with iPhone's who pay 30 pound a month? Are you serious? Oh yeah, I forgot. Your mommas and daddies pay for it, don't they. I hope a hurricane hits your house, spoilt brats. Anyway, I'm considering the Xperia Arc S. I've seen a deal that's just slightly over £15 a month, with unlimited internet and a considerable amount of free texts/calls. Feel free to drop me a line somewhere with suggestions.
I think that's all I really wanted to cover in this blog. I've been spending most of my time outside of the house, be it partying (happy birthday to Kitty C!), walking or with my girlfriend. You'd think I'd have more interesting things to post about because of this, alas, I do not.
So I will leave you with this thought:
If we were all the size of peas, and peas were all the size of humans, we would live like kings.

Yours, the charismatic and twisted one.
And the one with huge hair.

Back in black.

I'm baaaaack!
After attempting to dye my hair a chocolatey dark brown, it turns out it was not to be, and instead, it went black. At first I dreaded at, seeing as it had been black for 3+ years. However, after an hour or two, I realised that I really did miss having dark hair and rejoiced!
And thankfully, it's non-permanent, so it'll wash out over time, meaning I don't have to worry too much about roots.
("Stupid goth." - You AND my girlfriend.)

I'm in "super serious mode x4" for this year. I've got alot planned already.
It's my best friends 20th in 8 days and mine in February. I now have my Rammstein ticket (thank you baby!) for February and my Black Veil Brides ticket for March. On top of these, I also need to buy my ticket to the Mick Foley Comedy Tour in March. He promised me a hug, and I refuse to let it go until I get it.
In other wrestling-related nerdy news, I've been tweeted by the following: Yoshi Tatsu, Mick Foley, Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler (three times) and won a calender for posting Dolph as my favourite superstar, which he replied to me with congratulations. #markgasms

Anyway, continuing on. This blog post is just going to be filled with recent going ons and thoughts, because I have a bit of time to kill and haven't updated in a while.

As you can tell from above, I'm totally hooked on Twitter now. It's such a great way to get news and just stalk people. Honestly. Oh, and one of my favourite Japanese bands' leader is following me. Who you ask?
Yoshiki from X-Japan! #japgasms
So if you want to follow me on Twitter ("We don't." - You), click hereee!
Also, I got a new Facebook account for several reasons, click here to reach it.

You know when you're sitting beside someone while they're doing something, and you think, "Hey, I need to entertain myself 'til they're done"?
Next time, dear girlfriend, do your makeup faster. Or I'll find more things to padlock.

Why I carry padlocks around with me is besides the point, by the way.

Alright, final topic of the blog. And it's about gaming. So if you don't like it, I'd pretend this is the end here.
Sayonara blog!
See? The end for you, especially made.

Anyway, I finally bought Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, because there's so much hype about the series.
Nathan Drake. Y U SO ALLERGIC TO BULLETS.
I've never played a character who dies so much in my life. I mean Jesus Z. Christ. Tiny things such as jumping down to a platform and the game running him right off the edge. And by "off the edge", I mean into a huge waterfall, plunging him to his death.
I've had less deaths in Dark Souls (incidentally, possibly my favourite game of 2011, even though I only started fully enjoying it in 2012) and that's saying something. Stupid Hydras.
Another problem I suffered from with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, was the fact that on my first playing of the game, it didn't "install" or "update", therefore didn't load the trophies list. I got to Chapter 8 or 9 before switching off for a while. It updated when I turned it on again, and sure enough I can't get trophies on my play through due to this. I'd have to start an entirely new play through to start unlocking them. Pissed is not the word. I like my trophies, Naughty Dog. You cunts.
And finally, my last qualm with the game, is that up to the point I have gotten to, it's 85% "kill these waves of enemies" an 15% "climb/swing to the next wave of enemies."
I realise it's an old game, but the gameplay seems to lack something. I think it's "fun".
I'm not saying the game is without good points! The voice acting is incredible, the characters are likeable and the storyline seems rich. I just wish the gameplay was strong enough to make me want to proceed. I'm sure I'll play more in a new playthrough and start grabbing the trophies, but until I have the patience, Uncharted is going to remain just that. Uncharted.

I may make a side-blog (completely new URL) dedicated to reviewing new games I get. I'll ask about and see if anyone would be interested in it first though.

If you read all the way to here, I'm impressed and as I did with a previous blog, here's your GOLD STAR!
Sayonara blog! Until next time!
